The Centre for Advocacy and Research (CFAR) was founded in January 1988 and has been involved in providing humanitarian relief support to most marginal communities during the COVID 19 pandemic .The beneficiaries of the relief include socially, occupationally and spatially vulnerable groups of women, men, transgender and children living in low-income habitats and informal settlements and shelter homes and orphanages supporting migrants, children of key population groups and homeless persons.Dry ration and grocery kits, hygiene and dignity kits, supplementary nutrition for 0–6-year-old children, cooked food, financial assistance. We also procured and provided assistive aids, tarpaulin sheets, weighing scale and musical instruments to address needs of shelter, mobility and livelihood for persons living with disabilities. Additionally, we facilitated marginal and occupationally vulnerable groups for COVID vaccination across all cities to ensure safety and protection from the pandemic
