OSAAT is a 100% volunteer driven organization. Its volunteers include architects, bankers, civil engineers, IT professionals, defense personnel etc., Till date OSAAT has rebuilt 44 rural/semi urban schools across India, majority of them in Karnataka state. Its aim is to complete 100 projects by 2025. Currently about 13 projects are in progress and another 16 projects are on the drawing board. OSAAT has a well structured process for selection of schools for intervention, assessment, estimation, selection of contractors and a well defined process for execution of the project.

In the backdrop of COVID - 19 pandemic, OSAAT felt the need to implement a project - named OSAAT Digital School Infrastructure (ODiSI) - for the underprivileged children studying in rural/semi urban schools. The project is aimed at providing a simple, cost effective, sustainable, scalable and feasible model so as to bridge the digital divide between Rural and Urban children.
